The fashion vintage week will take place in Paris, at the “Dépot”, during the last week of May. It will take the appearance of a market. As this word denotes, it will be a real market, where everybody can sell or buy clothes, accessories of a certain prestige and value, from the 50′s to the 80′s.

This event is unique in France, the concept comes from Lyon, and we decided to bring it to Paris, because it is the most recognized fashion town in the world. The “Dépot” based at the 18 rue Pyrénée, Paris the 20th, will host a lot of people during the 29th and the 30th of May 2010.

Used in many areas, Vintage, unlike the fripe, means good or styli- zed sratched with a history as a soul. Nostalgic, of the past, consu- mers as creators continue to follow the fashion of the 30s to 80swith reprints, reinterpretations, or large exhibitions in tri- bute to the greatest. More than a garment, or objects of another decade, the vintage is a lifestyle. Rare, scratched or not emblema- tic of a current.

This concept was born in Lyon. Until then, it was the unique one in France.

The theme of the Vintage Fashion Market 2010 will be the sixties.

The market will hold on 29 to the 30 may 2010. The évent will take place :

18 rue des pyrénées 7520 Paris, and the place’s name is : Le DEPOT

The concept:

The first idea of this market was to create a vintage fashion event in France which would gather all vintage enthusiasts to an exchange market place.

As its name denotes, the Vintage Fashion Market is a real market, where everybody can come to sell or buy clothes, accessories of a certain prestige and value, from the 50’s to the 80’s (fabrics, embroideries, buttons, shoes, jewellery, hats as well as some design objects and furniture).

The exhibitors are as much individuals as collectors, professionals or designers working on the Vintage theme, from everywhere in France and Europe.

The programm:

This market want to be popular and open for everybody.

The cost is 3 euros.

During  2 days  the market offers the possibility to see a photo exposition, and, fashion shows, concerts, good cook and contest.
